DESCRIPTION
Grape variety: Nebbiolo 100%
Production area: Terraces particularly exposed in Sondrio
Yield per hectare: 40 hL per hectare (per stock limited to 1,5 kg)
Harvest: Last 5 days in October
Sugar content: 23 Babo
 Alcohol content: 14%
Total acidity: 6,3 g/L
Residual sugar: Trace
Solids: 32 g/L
Vinification: Fermentation of 12 days in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature of 28-30 °C
Ageing: 36 months in Slavonian tonneaux, then it is stored in open steel vats to decant naturally.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Intense ruby red
Nose: Intense with hints of hazelnuts, liquorice and spices
Palate: Dry, pleasant and slightly tannic
Food pairings: The elegance of the aromas and the moderate tannins allow a combination with red meat dishes, cheeses and game
Serving conditions: Cork a short while before serving. Serve at 18-20 °C in Nebbiolo glasses. Distributed in 750 mL and 1500 mL bottles
Vintage: 2014 was a very difficult year due to the wet and cold climate. To obtain quality wines it was necessary to select only the best bunches, having a yield loss of about 30-40%
